The burial mound had been accidentally discovered by three researchers looking for Native American bodies at a place called Spanish Hill. The skeletons were sent to the Philadelphia museum, where they suffered the same fate as many other archaeological finds that challenged mainstream anthropology. Yes, they were stolen or ‘misplaced’.
Is there any connection between these unusual skeletons and the mysterious Mound Builders that inhabited prehistoric North America?

Many believe this illusive culture consisted of the Nephilim and their offspring, collectively called the ‘Shining Ones’, as they were often depicted with horns. This was a symbol of wisdom and rulership and this is why many shamanistic cultures adopted the practice of adorning their heads with horns. As writer Mary Sutherland believes, this was done in order to show they were descendants of Atlanteans and had the right to rule.
The legends of many Native American tribes describe an early race of giants that had built the enigmatic megalithic structures found throughout North America. When early settlers inquired about said structures, the Native Americans responded that long before them, the land was inhabited by a race of ancient and powerful people that had come from the sea a long time ago.
Were these skeletons the remains of the children of the Nephilim? Were they something else? Unfortunately, there is no trace of the unusual skeletons today and the many questions they raised will remain unanswered.
